Role Description:
Health Data Movers (HDM) is seeking an experienced Epic Project Manager to lead and oversee Epic EHR implementation, optimization, and support engagements for our healthcare clients. This role serves as the primary point of accountability for project scope, timeline, budget, and stakeholder communication across the full Epic project lifecycle, from planning through go-live and post-live stabilization. The ideal candidate will bridge client executive sponsors, Epic application teams, and consulting resources to ensure successful, on-time delivery.
What You'll Do:
Own project scope, timeline, budget, and risk across Epic implementation/optimization engagements Serve as the main point of contact between client stakeholders and HDM consulting teams Drive go-live readiness, cutover planning, and post-live support transition Manage status reporting, steering committee meetings, and executive updates Coordinate staffing needs with HDM's delivery team Benefits and Compensation Competitive Hourly RateMANY Bonus Opportunities! HDM Swag Required Experience:
5+ years project management experience in healthcare IT, with hands-on Epic implementation/optimization experience Experience managing full project lifecycle (planning through stabilization)Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills Proficiency with PM tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.)
Preferred Experience:
PMP certification Epic PM certification or training Consulting/staffing industry background Go-live command center experience*Applicants must currently reside and perform all work within one of the 50 U.S. states or the District of Columbia.
