About the role

Job Title: HR Recruiter
Location: Richmond, VA
Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week
Duration: 12+ Months (Long-term contract) with potential conversion
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced HR Recruiter to join our recruiting team in Richmond, VA. This role will focus primarily on high-volume recruiting for Branch Ambassador positions, along with supporting Market Manager and Branch Manager hiring. The ideal candidate will have strong full-cycle recruiting experience, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for a proactive recruiting partner who can develop sourcing strategies, identify talent-market challenges, and provide recommendations to hiring managers rather than simply taking job orders.
Key Responsibilities: Manage the full recruiting lifecycle, from sourcing and candidate screening through interview coordination, offer, and closing. Recruit for high-volume Branch Ambassador positions, similar to banking teller and customer-service roles. Support recruiting for Market Manager and Branch Manager positions as needed. Manage approximately 25–30 requisitions simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and candidate experience. Support approximately 12 hires per month in a high-volume, class/cohort-based recruiting environment. Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies to build qualified candidate pipelines. Identify sourcing gaps and recommend solutions based on local talent-market conditions. Partner closely with hiring managers and business stakeholders to understand hiring needs and provide recruiting guidance. Act as a strategic recruiting partner rather than an order-taker. Conduct candidate outreach, resume review, phone screens, interview coordination, and candidate follow-up. Maintain clear and timely communication with candidates and hiring stakeholders throughout the recruiting process. Ensure a high-touch, positive candidate experience throughout the hiring lifecycle. Manage competing priorities and changing requirements in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment. Track recruiting activity, pipeline status, and hiring progress while maintaining accurate records.
Required Qualifications: Approximately 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience preferred; candidates with less experience may be considered based on demonstrated capabilities. Experience managing multiple requisitions and competing priorities simultaneously. Demonstrated experience with high-volume recruiting, mass hiring, or cohort/class-based hiring. Strong candidate sourcing and pipeline development skills. Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail. Experience partnering directly with hiring managers and business stakeholders. Ability to proactively identify recruiting challenges and recommend solutions. Strong relationship-building and consultative recruiting skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-changing environment with ambiguity and shifting priorities.
Preferred Qualifications: Corporate/in-house recruiting experience. Experience recruiting for retail, hospitality, banking, customer service, or other high-touch, high-volume environments. Experience recruiting for branch, field, or customer-facing positions. Experience developing recruiting strategies for a specific local market. Experience working with Google Workspace, including Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Google Meet.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
