Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site Licensed Professional Counselor role located in Parker, CO. The role involves providing individual, group, and family therapy to clients of diverse backgrounds. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for clients. The counselor will actively participate in ongoing training and support the organization's mission of advancing mental health and well-being within the community.
Qualifications:
Licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado or eligibility to obtain licensureProficiency in individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapyCompetence in conducting mental health assessments and developing treatment plansStrong communication, empathetic listening, and interpersonal skillsAbility to maintain detailed and accurate client records in compliance with legal and ethical guidelinesExperience in trauma-informed care and familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as CBT, DBT, or EMDR is preferredMaster’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related fieldCommitment to continuous professional development and learning
