Front Desk Supervisor
Location: Arlington, VA 22203 Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Desk Supervisor to oversee daily front desk operations at our Arlington, VA location. The ideal candidate will lead a team of front desk staff, ensuring exceptional service delivery, efficient workflow, and a welcoming environment for all visitors and employees.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate front desk staff activities, including scheduling, training, and performance management. Ensure prompt and professional greeting of visitors, clients, and employees. Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, directing inquiries to appropriate personnel. Maintain front desk area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies. Handle escalated customer service issues and resolve conflicts efficiently and diplomatically. Monitor and maintain security protocols, including visitor sign-in/out procedures and access control. Collaborate with other departments to support smooth office operations and communication. Prepare and maintain reports related to front desk activities and staff performance.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in front desk or administrative roles, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and front desk management software.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor. Work Environment
