Quality Inspector – Metal Finishing Texas Precision Plating (DBA DFW Anodize and Metal Finishing, LLC) – Garland,
TXRole Overview: Texas Precision Plating is seeking a Quality Inspector to verify that finished parts meet customer drawings, purchase order requirements, and finishing specifications, supporting our path to AS9100 certification and NADCAP receiving, in-process, and final inspection of finished parts. Measure coating thickness and verify appearance, coverage, color, and masking against specifications and PO requirements. Verify part count, identification, traveler sign-offs, and certification requirements before release. Identify, document, and segregate nonconforming material; communicate promptly with Quality and Production. Prepare and verify certificates of conformance and inspection records. Support customer complaints, root cause investigations, and corrective actions. Verify gauge calibration status before use.
Qualifications: 2+ years of quality inspection experience in metal finishing, plating, or aerospace manufacturing (preferred).Ability to read blueprints, purchase orders, and finishing specifications (e.g., MIL-PRF-8625, MIL-DTL-5541, AMS 2700).Experience with coating thickness gauges and basic precision instruments. Experience with AS9100 or ISO 9001 (preferred).Accurate, complete
Requirements: Stand or sit for extended periods; handle parts up to 50 lbs with assistance as appropriate; perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
