Job Description:
Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a reliable Creeler in Thomaston, GA. In this hands-on, fast-paced role, you will be responsible for supporting production operations by loading thread packages onto creels, using a manual pallet jack, and keeping materials organized and ready for production. This is a great opportunity to get started in a manufacturing environment with the opportunity to learn and grow into the full Creeler position. In a Creeler job, you’ll be responsible for: Loading and placing thread packages onto creels for production Frequently lifting thread packages weighing approximately 7 lbs - 25 lbs. Using a manual pallet jack to move materials Climbing small ladders to safely access and place packages on higher creels.
What you’ll need:
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. on a frequent basis Ability to operate a manual pallet jack or willingness to learn Good visual acuity and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Manufacturing or production experience is a plus, but not required.
