About the role
Harbor Dish donates food to non-profits in the Tampa Bay area, empowering our communities one meal at a time. Harbor Dish transforms donated food into refined cuisine and serves 70+ nonprofits that offer services for the at-risk and homeless, the underserved and impoverished, domestic abuse recovery, human trafficking recovery, home bound seniors, chronically ill and veterans. Community is enriched when people come together for a common good. Our patrons include those who need a hand up and those who are inspired by getting involved. Harbor Dish is looking for individuals that like to help others prep and prepare food. You can be experienced or inexperienced. We are looking for the love of serving others, and knowing you are making a difference in someone's life. We would like volunteers who can follow directions, and maybe even become a leader in our volunteer organization. We have all the tools you need to do the task at hand.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
