Plastics Manufacturing Operator
Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent Required Skills and Experiences: Ability to use basic computer systems to enter, review, or track production or quality information Ability to operate plastics machine equipment and follow established work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards Ability to load, unload, sort, stage, and move raw materials, components, and finished goods through the production process Ability to inspect in-process and completed plastic parts for quality, dimensions, defects, and conformance to specifications Ability to monitor equipment operation, identify basic process or equipment issues, and report concerns Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area and follow site procedures for material handling, storage, and disposal Ability to meet assigned productivity targets and adjust to changing manufacturing priorities Preferred Skills and Experiences: 1+ year of experience operating production machinery and performing routine maintenance Experience with warehouse staging and inventory systems, including handheld barcode scanners and basic WMS Completed safety training such as OSHA-10 or equivalent and demonstrated ability to follow safety procedures
Overview / Summary: Supports plastics manufacturing operations by handling materials, operating production equipment, and completing work in accordance with safety and quality standards Works with production team members, leads, and operations partners to meet daily output and schedule commitments Helps maintain efficient production flow and consistent product quality across the site
Primary Responsibilities: Operate plastics machine equipment and follow established work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards during each shift Load, unload, sort, stage, and move raw materials, components, and finished goods through the production process Inspect in-process and completed plastic parts for quality, dimensions, defects, and conformance to specifications Monitor equipment operation, identify basic process or equipment issues, and report concerns Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow site procedures for material handling, storage, and disposal Support daily production goals by meeting assigned productivity targets and adjusting to changing manufacturing priorities as needed Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.
