About the role
Assembler JobSeeking an Assembler with strong Mechanical aptitude and prior experience in Mechanical assembly processes, preferably in electronics assembly. (2-5 years minimum).Position Scope and Summary: Repair Technician: Will be changing out parts such as boards and then reassembling product to get ready for testing The work will be performed from oral and/or written instructions including mechanical drawings, work instructions, and wiring diagrams. Tools used will be calibrated torque drivers and hand tools. Product Tester: Will be responsible for performing functional testing on repaired equipment to ensure all specification are met. Diagnostic Technician: Will be responsible for trouble shooting and identifying failed components that need to be repaired.
Hours: 6:00/7:00 AM to 2:30/3:30 PMMinimum Requirements
High school diploma or GED is required Strong Mechanical aptitude and prior experience in Mechanical assembly processes, preferably in electronics assembly. (2-5 years minimum) Ability to work with multiple hand and Power/Battery operated tools. Able to read and work from mechanical drawings and work instructions. (Instructions are in English) Learn multiple processes, cross-trainable to support multiple product lines. Ability to work with limited supervision, self-motivated & results organized, with attention to detail. Ability to work and support production requirements and meet deadlines. Ensure high quality work is performed with repeatability and reliability. Able to perform within a team and adapt to a diverse cultural work group. Good moral character and able to fit into the company culture. Excellent communication skills 2 years of work-related experience in the electronics industry or related field. Experience of working in a team orientated manufacturing environment. Knowledgeable and capable of working in an ESD environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are expected. Solder Experience a plus.
