About the role
- Perform comprehensive women's health assessments and physical examinations
- Provide preventive, acute, and chronic gynecologic care
- Conduct screenings, diagnostic evaluations, treatment planning, and follow-up care
- Educate patients on reproductive health, wellness, disease prevention, and treatment options
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing and laboratory studies
- Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and ancillary healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and community health programs
- Support patient access, continuity of care, and positive health outcomes
- Qualifications Required
- Active New York Nurse Practitioner license
- National certification as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP)
- Minimum two years of clinical experience
- Strong women's health and OB/GYN clinical skills
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- PreferredFQHC or Community Health Center experience
- Experience serving underserved or multicultural patient populations
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Strong interest in preventative and community-based healthcare
