About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Operator (Actuator Assembly) to join our manufacturing team in Houston, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and quality-checking actuator components with precision and accuracy. You will work in a fast-paced production environment where your attention to detail and organizational skills are essential to maintaining our high standards of quality and safety. Assemble actuator components according to technical specifications and engineering drawings Operate assembly equipment and tools safely and efficiently Perform quality inspections and measurements using precision instruments to ensure components meet specifications Identify and report defects or discrepancies in materials or assembled units Maintain organized work stations and ensure proper storage of parts and materials Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment Document production activities and maintain accurate records of completed assemblies Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines Troubleshoot minor assembly issues and communicate problems to supervisory staff Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality
Qualifications: Proven experience in assembly operations or mechanical manufacturing environments Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions Proficiency with precision measurement tools and quality control equipment Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and zero-defect standards Excellent organizational and time management skills Manual dexterity and strong hand-eye coordination Knowledge of safety protocols and commitment to workplace safety compliance Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented production setting Basic computer literacy for documentation and record-keeping purposes
Preferred: Experience with actuator systems or similar mechanical assemblies
Preferred: Familiarity with manufacturing quality standards and best practices
Preferred: Experience with pneumatic or hydraulic systems HP
