Position Overview: KWI Cabinetry Inc. is seeking a Project Coordinator to assist in overseeing luxury residential cabinetry and millwork projects from concept through installation. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Niles, Illinois. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for collaborating with the project management team and assisting in all aspects of project execution including customer communication, scheduling, procurement, and quality control. This role requires a proactive person who can manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship and customer service. This role would be a great fit for a cabinetmaker looking to transition into a role with greater responsibility.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain and drive project schedules to ensure timely completion Serve as the secondary point of contact for contractors, architects, designers Assist in conducting site visits, field measurements, and job site coordination as needed Review and interpret architectural and shop drawings for accuracy and constructability Coordinate material procurement, production timelines, and installation logistics Assist in preparing and managing project documentation, including proposals, change orders, shipping slips, and specifications Monitor project progress and proactively collaborate with Project Manager to resolve issues related to design, fabrication, or installation Ensure all work meets company quality standards and customer expectations Collaborate closely with internal staff including estimating, engineering, and shop production
