About the role
- Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience
- Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred
- Printing or packaging experience is a plus
- Strong understanding of production and quality processes
- Lead and support production line employees to meet daily production goals
- Monitor workflow and ensure products meet quality standards
- Train and assist team members with production processes and procedures
- Coordinate line activities to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime
- Ensure adherence to company safety policies and procedures
- Troubleshoot production issues and communicate concerns to management
- Maintain accurate production records and reports
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements
- Previous supervisory or management experience within a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred.
- Experience managing inventory accuracy, shipping operations, receiving activities, and employee performance is beneficial.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, OSHA regulations, or supply chain best practices is considered an asset.
- Individuals who demonstrate leadership, accountability, professionalism, and a commitment to operational excellence are well positioned for success as a Production Line Lead.
- Physical Capabilities:
- Ability to walk, stand, and move throughout warehouse operations for extended periods.
- Ability to occasionally lift or move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely work in active warehouse environments with forklifts, conveyors, and material handling equipment.
- Ability to inspect warehouse operations and respond to operational needs throughout the facility.
