About the role
Mantra Care is hiring qualified Therapists and Psychologists in Japan for a 100% remote role. This flexible position involves providing online therapy and counselling sessions through a secure teletherapy platform. Compensation is ¥10,000–¥50,000 per session, depending on qualifications, experience and role.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one online therapy and counselling sessions.
Support clients with anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, ADHD, bipolar disorder, relationship concerns, workplace challenges and employee assistance program (EAP) needs, within the professional scope of practice.
Understand clients' concerns and provide appropriate evidence-based psychological support.
Maintain accurate and confidential session documentation.
Follow applicable professional, ethical and data protection requirements in Japan.
Refer clients to appropriate healthcare professionals or services when clinically necessary.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Psychology, Counselling, Clinical Psychology or a relevant mental health field.
Relevant professional qualification, registration or licence required to provide psychological or counselling services in Japan, where applicable.
For professionals practising as a 公認心理師 (Certified Public Psychologist), valid registration is required.
At least 6 months of relevant counselling or therapy experience.
Strong communication, active listening and interpersonal skills.
Ability to provide confidential online therapy and maintain appropriate digital records.
Professional proficiency in Japanese or English, depending on client requirements.
