This role is HYBRID in Colorado Springs, CO OR Dayton, OH OR Herndon, VA.WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:Develops documents analyzes tests integrates debugs and maintains system architectures and software to provide scalable solutions composing of custom and opensource software.Participates in Agile Teams to plan develop enhancements and maintain softwareIntegrates commercial solutions including opensource software into cloud native environment.Develops intuitive user interfaces to ease employment of technically complex servicesWHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES:Proficient software development skillsUnix/Linux experienceFamiliarity with microservice development of scalable solutions employing messaging (e.g. RabbitMQ) and REST APIsAgile/DevOps experiencePython, Java, JavaScript/React developmentUnit and behavioral test (using Cucumber) developmentAbility to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security ClearanceWHAT THE TEAM PREFERS:Master's degree computer science or equivalentSec+, CISSP or equivalentsFront end and Backend developmentFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines software management tools and source code repositories suchGitHub Gitlab and Jira.Ability to evaluate opensource tools and recommend for employmentFamiliarity with Document as Code such as SphinxExperience with NASA GMAT scriptingExperience with DoD (i.e. secure) application coding practicesPAY TRANSPARENCY: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $175,000 - $200,000.APPLICATION DEADLINE: October 31, 2026THE AURIA TEAM:Auria is a provider of solutions and software in support of complex Space, National Security, and Cyber missions of federal, international, and commercial customers.
