About the role

To support strategic business initiatives, the full-time Virginia Licensed Assistant Counsel will provide legal support in areas such as commercial contracting, privacy, employment law, and corporate governance while working in a hybrid environment. Key responsibilities Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing various commercial agreements Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support privacy, cybersecurity, and data governance initiatives Providing guidance on employment-related issues and supporting corporate governance activities Required qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school Active membership in good standing with at least one state bar 4+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a corporate legal department Demonstrated experience with SaaS agreements and knowledge of global privacy laws Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions and corporate transactions
