About the role
The City of Chesapeake seeks a qualified psychiatrist who has completed an accredited residency in psychiatry and holds or is eligible for the Virginia medical license and DEA registration. Board certification is preferred, and a Suboxone waiver within 12 months of hire is required.
A valid driving history meeting City standards is also necessary. Preference is given to candidates with experience in community mental health and substance use care, and with strong oral and written communication
