The Role: We are seeking a motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our home care team. You will play a critical part in helping patients improve their communication skills through: Direct Therapy: Delivering services as directed by the supervising SLP for both adult and pediatric patients. Plan Execution: Following customized treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication needs in natural environments. Progress Tracking: Monitoring and documenting patient progress, adjusting therapy activities for continuous improvement. Holistic Care: Collaborating across disciplines to ensure patients receive well-rounded, high-quality intervention.
Qualifications
Certification: Certified by the National Board for Certification. State Licensure: Valid and current state license as a Speech Therapist Assistant (SLPA).Population Experience: Experience working with both pediatric and adult populations is required.
Skills: Strong clinical reasoning, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently in a home-care setting.
