About the role

Upstate Medical University Department of Orthopedic Surgery in Syracuse, New York is seeking a BC/BE sports medicine orthopaedic surgeon. All candidates must have completed an orthopedic surgery residency and a one year ACGME accredited sports medicine fellowship; be ABOS certified or currently ABOS Board Eligible; have an interest in clinical practice, research, and resident education. The outpatient clinical practice is at the Upstate Bone & Joint Center, a facility that offers patients comprehensive musculoskeletal care at one location, including an outpatient surgery center. The practice participates in the coverage of Syracuse University sports as well as other local colleges and high schools. Access to functional testing and basic research facilities at the University’s Institute for Human Performance is available. Academic rank and salary commensurate with education and experience.
