Just 20 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh, our Blawnox, PA plant carries on the city's legendary industrial tradition every single day. We're hiring skilled steel MIG welders for two shifts:1st Shift: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, starting at $25.33/hour2nd Shift: 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm, starting at $25.93/hour (includes a $0.60/hour shift differential)

What you'll do:
  • Set up, operate, and tend welding machines to join components and fabricate metal products and assemblies
  • Assemble, align, and clamp workpieces into holding fixtures for bonding, heat-treating, or soldering
  • Lay out, position, align, and fit components together, usually in fixtures
  • Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure them in position for welding
  • Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements
  • Set up equipment and weld parts using MIG welding equipment
  • Assemble parts by bolting and riveting
  • Operate punch presses, drill presses, shears, saws, and tube-bending equipment
  • Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts
