Join a team where your contributions matter and your values align with a company committed to transforming lives and interior spaces.Position Summary: Caseworkers are required to know how to build a cabinet carcass and drawer boxes by assembling pre-cut and pre-machined parts using a dowel, glue, and screw methods and/or from scratch.Build a cabinet starting from scratch by creating a cut list, cutting material to size, use jigs to locate hardware, and completing all of the processes without the help of computerized machinery.Complete the finished ends of a cabinet and apply all of the hardware, doors, drawer boxes and drawer heads, shelves, fillers and loose parts to the cabinet preparing it for delivery.Build drawer boxes by assembling pre-cut and pre-machined parts using dowel, glue, and screw methods. Must also know how to install slides onto drawer sides and rout lock slots into drawer fronts.Assemble/build adjustable shelves and collect hardware as well as build closet shelf units.What Makes You a Great Fit:Previous knowledge and/or experience in Millwork/Casework.Have full understanding of shop drawings and ability to read blueprints; know how to relate the elevations, plan views, and detail (section cut) view and how to fabricate a cabinet using these three elements.Skilled in using a file, chisel, screwdriver, handsaw, clamps, biscuit joiner, router, drill, belt sander, pneumatic stapler, table saw and chop saw; Must also have the ability to accurately read a tape measure.Have strong ability to solve problems regarding machining mistakes, unclear shop drawings, etc. in order to complete projects in a timely manner.Ability to handle multiple tasks in a deadline orientated environment.Excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills (verbal and written).Possess a positive and professional attitude.Job DetailsSalary: $17 to $23 an hour, commensurate upon experience.Job Type: Full Time. Shift, Mon-Fri, 6:00am - 2:30pm.
