About the role
Foster parents provide a temporary home for a rescued cat until they find their forever homes. The more fosters we have, the more lives we can save! Full Time Fosters take in a cat or kitten from our intake queue or from another foster and provide temporary housing until they are adopted and placed in their forever home. This can be as short as one week or take several weeks or longer. Kitten Fosters are responsible for caring for the youngest arrivals until they are adopted. A Kitten Foster typically fosters a litter of kittens that are not yet fully vaccinated. They require a little more care and attention so kitten fosters should have a somewhat flexible schedule. Medical Fosters are responsible for caring for kittens or cats who require around the clock medical attention. Training is provided. Medical experience is preferred. Must be willing to wake up every couple of hours if needed. It's not for the faint of heart, but the reward of seeing your medical foster recover and thrive is an experience you will never forget. Bottle Mommies and Daddies When a kitten is without a mother, it's up to us to lend a hand. Must be willing to wake up every 2-3 hours, stimulate them to go potty and help to save the smallest of the small. Training is provided. Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
