Job Summary: The Quality Control Tech II provides general administrative support to the Quality Control Department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform general clerical functions including filing, scanning, data entry, and digital document storage. Prepare, organize, and file Quality, Production, Inspection and Shipping Records. Provide administrative support and assistance to the Quality Control Department as needed. Organize and prepare a report on the work orders in-process in the Quality Control Department. Provide administrative support for the management of purchase orders to outside service vendors. Perform data entry and retrieve information from the enterprise software system (Visual).Provide administrative support for the management of the tool calibration system. Provide additional administrative support to the General Manager and Management Staff. Perform other production-related duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize work. Knowledge of and ability to use enterprise software (Visual, SAP, Oracle, etc.).Fundamental understanding of the activities and requirements of the Quality Control Department. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to support Quality Control Department personnel. Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and understand technical documents and drawings. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and
Experience: High School Diploma or GEDMinimum of one year of office/administrative experience in a manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of advanced education (Associate's Degree) and experience.
