Schedule: 3 Ă— 12-hour shifts
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Days Weekend: Every Other Weekend (EOW)
Guaranteed Hours: 34.5 hours/week Contract: 3 months with possible extensionsđź’° Compensation Local: $59/hr on W2
Travel: $2,361/week travel package Travel Requirement: Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required for Travel positions🩺
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the CSICU / Coronary Care team. The Clinical Nurse will provide safe, high-quality, patient-centered care while collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
🔹 Key Responsibilities: Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process and evidence-based practices. Assess patients and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans. Administer medications and provide patient education and care coordination. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support positive patient outcomes. Monitor patients and promptly recognize and escalate changes in condition. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in the EMR.Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. Support discharge planning and transitions of care. Perform charge nurse responsibilities when assigned. Maintain appropriate supplies and resources for patient care. Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, empathy, and effective communication.
✅ Required Qualifications: Active New York State RN LicenseBLS CertificationACLS Certification Minimum 2 years of RN experience Minimum 2 years of post-open-heart and cardiac care/CSICU experienceICU experience required Excellent organizational and critical-thinking skillsEPIC experience highly preferredBSN preferred🤝
