About the role
Machine Operator Seeking a dependable Machine Operator to operate specialized production equipment used to finish plastic cards and sheets. This facility offers a clean, bright, modern, temperature-controlled manufacturing environment. Previous machine operator experience is not required; candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
Required Skills:
- Basic mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
- Familiarity with basic hand tools
- Ability to follow SOPs and detailed job specifications
- Strong attention to quality and detail
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and lift up to 35 lbs.
- Ability to distinguish colors across the full color spectrum
- Safety shoes required
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Description:
Operate and monitor specialized production machinery.
Inspect output to ensure quality standards are met.
Make basic machine adjustments using hand tools.
Review job specifications and production requirements.
Complete required paperwork and data entry.
Identify and report equipment, quality, or production issues.
Perform routine operator maintenance.
Maintain accurate machine status information during production and shift transitions.
Participate in 5S and continuous improvement activities.
Assist other operators and production departments as needed.
Preferred Skills:
2+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
Production machinery experience preferred.
Experience with calipers is a plus.
