Cellar Worker

Key Responsibilities: Move Juice / Wine from tank to tank using pumps, hoses, and fittings. Weigh additives and make additions to the Juice / Wine. Sanitize tanks, hoses, pumps, and fittings. Operate Pumps, Presses, and Filters. Maintaining an organized and clean working environment. Other duties as assigned by Winemaker and Cellar Master. Skills and

Requirements: Ability to work quickly, accurately, and safely. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to take initiative and work in teams, and independently. Willingness to maintain a clean environment at all times. Must be willing to kneel, climb stairs/catwalks, and/or lift 50 lbs. Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods under variable temperatures. Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented. Self-starter with initiative willingness to learn and follow new procedures. Previous experience in a winery preferred but not required. Basic math required. High school graduate or GED required College degree preferred but not required The ideal applicant will be able to work as a key member of our team and complete tasks with minimal supervision. This is a paid full-time position 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday during Harvest from late August to late October. Extended hours during harvest including Saturday and Sunday.
