About the role

Structural Steel Quality Control Inspector We are hiring a Quality Control Inspector with structural steel fabrication experience to support quality checks throughout the production process. Experienced senior-level structural steel fitters or fabricators with strong inspection skills may also be considered.
Key Responsibilities: Perform daily inspections of fabricated structural steel. Identify and document nonconformances in accordance with D1.1/D1.5.Inspect materials against shop drawings and in-process and final inspections, including dimensional layout and part placement. Participate in annual AISC QC audits. Work with production to identify and resolve quality issues. Help develop and support quality improvement –5 years of experience in structural steel layout and to read and interpret fabrication and construction drawings. Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication and quality standards. Welding certification in D1.1 and/or D1.5 preferred.
