About the role
✨ Office Manager / Office Administrator📍 Midtown Manhattan We're partnering with a highly respected hedge fund in Midtown Manhattan that is looking for an exceptional Office Manager to become the face of the firm and the heartbeat of its day-to-day operations. This is far more than a front desk position. You'll be the person who ensures everything runs seamlessly, creates an outstanding experience for clients and investors, and becomes a trusted resource across the business.
What you'll be doing:
- Welcome clients, investors, and guests while serving as the firm's first impression.
- Manage office operations to ensure the space is organized, polished, and running efficiently.
- Coordinate conference rooms, meetings, catering, vendors, and building management.
- Oversee pantry and kitchen operations, office supplies, and day-to-day logistics.
- Support travel and calendar coordination for members of the Sales team.
- Grow into additional administrative responsibilities as you become a trusted member of the team. We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience in office management, office administration, executive support, or hospitality.
- Is polished, organized, proactive, and thrives on anticipating needs.
- Takes pride in creating an exceptional office environment.
- Believes no task is too big or too small.
- Wants a long-term home where they can make a meaningful impact. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys being the person everyone relies on. The firm values stability, invests in its people, and is committed to finding someone who wants to build a long-term career with the team.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
