Eyelet Machine Operator 2nd Shift, Train on 1st Shift (Temp-to-Hire)A well-established manufacturing company in Thomaston, CT is seeking a reliable and motivated Eyelet Machine Operator for 2nd shift in a temp-to-hire role. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, production experience, and a strong focus on safety and quality.
Hours: 2:30PM - 10:30PM
Location: Thomaston, CT
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate production machinery
- Monitor equipment and perform basic adjustments as needed
- Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards
- Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, or job orders
- Meet production goals while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Assist with basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a machine operator or in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools and measuring devices
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment
- Schedule & Employment Details:2nd shift (full-time, temp-to-hire)
