Job DescriptionESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Clean weld burns, deburr acid etc.
  • May need to operate small tools and use fixtures to accomplish tasks.
  • Set up and prepare equipment for grinding, such as belts for O.D. and I.D. grinder, make up grinding wheels and belts for grinder, etc.
  • Must be able to perform more minimal, non-cosmetic grinding/polishing.
  • Must meet quality standards
  • Must meet assigned labor routing times
  • Must have prompt and regular attendance.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Additional duties as assigned by your supervisor. Must have good hand-eye coordination. Must be able to operate grinding equipment. Follow all safety rules, policies and procedures. Must report all accidents/injuries to department supervisor immediately. Keep work area clean, neat and orderly Ability to work with others as a team to complete processesEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:A high school diploma or GED is requiredPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Seeing: Regularly (67–100% of the time) Hearing: Regularly (67–100% of the time) Standing/Walking: Frequently (34–66% of the time) Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: Frequently (34–66% of the time) Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: Regularly (67–100% of the time) Fingering/Grasping/Feeling: Regularly (67–100% of the time) Training pay for 90 days is $15.75 per hour. After training the pay is $17.00 per hour.
