About the role
To support the expansion of ABA clinics, the part-time Consultant for ABA Clinic Expansion will collaborate with the founding team to develop a comprehensive playbook for opening and scaling center-based facilities, focusing on site selection, build-out, licensing, and staffing, all while working remotely on a contract basis.
Key responsibilities
Help build Alpaca's end-to-end "how to open an ABA center" playbook
Advise on market/site selection, lease agreements, and ABA-appropriate floor-plan design
Guide payer credentialing/enrollment and licensing for new clinic locations
Required qualifications
Experience opening and scaling multiple center-based ABA clinics or similar multi-site pediatric therapy practices
Knowledge of the full stand-up lifecycle including real estate, build-out, and staffing
Understanding of ABA/behavioral health reimbursement and staffing dynamics
Bonus: BCBA or ABA clinical-ops leadership experience and relationships with relevant vendors
