D1 Training Altoona Internship Opportunity Build Your Foundation in Sport, Fitness & Athletic Development Are you a college student passionate about sports, fitness, strength & conditioning, or athletic performance? D1 Training Altoona is looking for motivated college students who want to gain real-world experience in a performance training environment while completing their internship hours. This is more than simply checking a box for your degree. It's an opportunity to learn, coach, and build a foundation in sport fitness and athletic development that can help prepare you for a career in the industry. At D1 Altoona, you'll work side-by-side with experienced coaches, including former Division I athletes and professional players, giving you the opportunity to learn from people who have experienced high-level athletics firsthand.
What You'll Gain:
- Complete required college internship hours
- Hands-on experience working with youth athletes, high school athletes, teams, and adults
- Learn the fundamentals of strength & conditioning
- Develop your knowledge of speed, agility, power, strength, mobility, and conditioning

Who We're Looking For This opportunity is ideal for college students studying: Exercise Science Kinesiology Strength & Conditioning Physical Education Sport & Recreation Management Athletic Training Sports Performance or related fields. You don't need to know everything coming in. We want students who are willing to learn, work hard, ask questions, and bring energy every day.
