About the role
- Manage water and wastewater infrastructure projects from planning through design, permitting, procurement, and construction support.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, internal teams, subconsultants, and stakeholders.
- Lead project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk management activities.
- Oversee and coordinate technical teams involved in: Collection systemsPump stations
- Water distribution systemsWater and wastewater treatment processes
- Support business development efforts, including proposal preparation, client presentations, and relationship management.
- Attend onsite client meetings, coordination meetings, and field visits as needed.
- Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations, codes, and client standards.
- Provide mentorship and direction to junior engineers and project staff. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
- Monitor project performance and proactively resolve issues that may affect delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline. 10+ years of related work experience and 8+ years of relevant experience in water/wastewater engineering and project management.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects involving: Collection systemsPump stations
- Distribution systemsWater/wastewater treatment processes
- Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and managing client relationships.
- Strong understanding of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure design and delivery.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project resources effectively.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to attend onsite meetings and travel as required.
- Candidate must be located in or able to work from: Austin, TXHouston, TXDallas, TXThis role requires: Attendance at onsite meetings
