Cox Communications Now Hiring Inbound Sales Representative (143013) As the nation’s third largest cable and broadband company, Cox provides a range of digital, video, Internet, and telephone services to over 6 million customers worldwide. The Inbound Sales Representative serves as a front‑line representative of the Cox brand in a high‑intensity call center environment, driving sales for all residential services and product lines while ensuring customer satisfaction. Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions Receive calls from current customers and non‑subscribers for sales and revenue generation. Utilize proactive sales skills to identify customer needs and position products that best meet those needs. Achieve monthly key performance metrics, call and order entry productivity standards, and call quality performance. Educate customers on current marketing campaigns and recommend appropriate packages and services. Maintain accurate records of sales activities on a daily basis. Increase revenue through up‑selling and cross‑selling video, high‑speed internet, wireless, and telephony services. Research and review competitive pricing and service offerings to provide customers with price and product comparisons. Use multiple customer databases to access, change, or input account information for new and existing customers. Provide outstanding customer service, troubleshoot and resolve service and minor technical problems. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: High‑school diploma, GED, or relevant work experience.
Demonstrated ability to multi‑task and pursue opportunities with little direction. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish collaborative customer relationships. Ability to influence others through direct or indirect influence. Capacity to thrive in a high‑change, ambiguous business environment. Eligibility to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the telecommunications industry.
At least 1 year in a sales quota environment. At least 2 years of experience in retail, training, indirect sales, or related fields.
