About the role

Primary Responsibilities: Develop and execute cybersecurity verification and validation test plans and test cases. Verify secure boot, firmware authentication, cryptographic signatures, access controls, and secure firmware updates. Perform HIL, fault-injection, hardware-level, and security regression testing. Use JTAG debuggers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers for low-level verification. Develop Python automation for testing, hardware interfacing, and test-result analysis. Perform targeted Embedded C code reviews and static analysis of security-critical firmware. Create requirements traceability matrices, test reports, and verification evidence. Support technical documentation forEU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA)and standards such asIEC 62443andETSI EN 303 645 .
Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in embedded software testing, verification, validation, or embedded cybersecurity. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Hands-on experience withTI C2000 / TMS320F2809or similar embedded architectures. Strong knowledge of secure boot, firmware authentication, cryptography, key management, access control, and secure firmware updates. Proficiency inEmbedded C and Python .Experience with JTAG, in-circuit emulators, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and HIL testing. Experience creating cybersecurity verification documentation and compliance evidence. Strong debugging, analytical, and technical documentation skills.
Preferred: Experience with embedded security testing, fault injection, static analysis, and secure firmware update mechanisms. Familiarity with EU CRA, IEC 62443, or ETSI EN 303 645.
