About the role

A prominent alternative asset manager is hiring a senior IR leader to manage and deepen key investor relationships while driving capital-raising and business development. This person will serve as a trusted representative of the firm — translating complex portfolio and firm-level information into clear, compelling communications for investors, consultants, and other stakeholders — while partnering closely with IR, investment, risk and senior leadership.
Key responsibilities: Manage and grow relationships with existing LPs; represent the firm at investor meetings, conferences, and industry events Own investor communications — portfolio positioning, performance updates, firm developments — and lead the end-to-end investor letter process Drive messaging for quarterly investor calls and executive engagements Identify capital-raising and cross-selling opportunities across strategies; translate investor feedback into commercial solutions Develop institutional-quality investor materials: presentations, strategy overviews, case studies, and marketing collateral Serve as a strategic sounding board to IR leadership
What we're looking for: 10+ years in investor relations, capital raising, or a closely related client-facing role at a multi-strategy or alternatives platform Deep investment fluency — able to speak knowledgeably to portfolio positioning, performance, and risk with sophisticated institutional investors Track record managing and growing relationships with large institutional LPs (pensions, endowments, sovereign wealth, consultants)Exceptional written communication skills, with experience owning investor letters or similar high-stakes narrative documents Strong executive presence and comfort briefing senior leadership for investor-facing engagements Sound judgment navigating multiple internal and external stakeholders — diplomatic but firm under pressure Experience contributing to new product/strategy development or cross-selling across fund vehicles a plus

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
