About the role

The Role: As an Optician at Vaughn Family Vision LLC, you will assist customers in selecting and fitting glasses that meet their vision needs and personal style. You will work closely with our team to ensure a positive shopping experience and maintain high standards of service.
What You'll Do: Provide personalized consultations to customers regarding eyewear options. Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses that suit their needs and preferences. Measure customers' eyes and fit glasses to ensure proper alignment and comfort. Educate customers on lens options, coatings, and care instructions. Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Maintain an organized and visually appealing display of eyewear products. Collaborate with the team to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
What We're Looking For: Previous experience as an optician or in a retail sales environment. Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude. Ability to work in a team and contribute to a positive work environment. Basic knowledge of optical products and services is preferred.
Nice to Have: Certification as an optician or relevant training. Experience with eyewear fitting and adjustments. Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management.
