About the role

RoleThe Manager, Business Analytics is a technical individual contributor within Veracyte's Sales Operations & Business Analytics team, serving as a strategic partner to Commercial, Finance, and Operations. The primary goal is to leverage advanced analytics, statistical modeling, data science, and automation to enhance operational performance, revenue, and business decision-making. Responsibilities include designing and maintaining scalable analytical solutions using SQL, Python, and cloud platforms; conducting statistical analyses and predictive modeling; collaborating with data engineering teams to improve data quality and architecture; and supporting enterprise data governance. The role involves translating complex data into actionable insights to influence leadership decisions and drive measurable outcomes.
Qualifications: Requires a bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Engineering) and 6-8+ years of experience in analytics, BI, or data science roles. Expert-level SQL skills Proficiency in Python Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, etc.) BI tools like Tableau or Power BI Strong analytical skills Communication abilities Experience managing large datasets in a fast-paced environment PreferredExperience in healthcare diagnostics, laboratory services, or life sciences; familiarity with AI-enabled analytics, generative AI, and workflow automation; stakeholder engagement at the executive level.
