About the role
We are hiring a hands-on Parts Inspecting & Warehouse Supervisor for a specialized industrial products company. This role is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical background who understands fasteners, screws, nuts, and other industrial components and is comfortable leading from the floor.
What You’ll Do:
Supervise daily quality inspection, sorting, and warehouse activities. Lead the sorting team and drive quality, productivity, and turnaround time. Inspect nuts, bolts, clips, aluminum castings, hot forgings, and other mechanical components for defects. Understand how mechanical parts are designed to function and recognize when they do not meet expectations. Track inspection results, defects, productivity, and overall operating performance. Create, implement, and maintain SOPs and quality procedures. Perform audits and address opportunities to improve quality and efficiency. Investigate problems and use sound judgment when issues aren't clearly defined. Identify inefficiencies and put practical solutions in place. Drive continuous improvement across the quality and warehouse operation. Lead by example and remain actively involved in day-to-day activities.
What We’re Looking For:
Hands-on background in mechanical, automotive, manufacturing, or technical environments. Experience with fasteners, industrial hardware, or mechanical components strongly preferred. Supervisory or management experience in quality, warehouse, sorting, production, or manufacturing. Strong eye for detail and a commitment to quality. Ability to recognize defects and understand the function of mechanical parts. Practical problem solver who can make decisions quickly and confidently. Hands-on leader who is comfortable working alongside the team. Comfortable splitting time between an office and a large warehouse/industrial setting. Someone looking for a long-term opportunity who is willing to take ownership and make an impact.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
