Job Overview:
We are seeking a part-time Safety & Compliance Consultant to support our organization with safety-related guidance and regulatory awareness.
This is a paid position within our team, focused on contributing to internal initiatives related to commercial driving operations and compliance.
The role involves sharing real-world insights on topics such as roadside inspections, safety practices, and regulatory standards, based on prior professional experience.
You will contribute through a combination of:
In-person discussions (Los Angeles area)
Recorded internal content
Occasional team workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions
This is an ideal opportunity for a retired police officer, CHP officer, or safety professional who wants to apply their experience in a flexible consulting role.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide insights related to safety practices and compliance procedures
Support internal discussions on regulatory standards and enforcement scenarios
Share real-world experience related to inspections and safety practices
Assist in developing internal reference materials
Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions with team members
Requirements:
Must be based in the United States (Los Angeles area preferred)
Background in one of the following:
Law enforcement (police, highway patrol, traffic division)
Commercial vehicle enforcement or DOT-related inspections
Transportation safety or regulatory environments
Strong communication and presentation skills
Comfortable sharing insights in group settings or recorded format
Ability to work independently in a flexible arrangement
Preferred (Not Required): Retired or former CHP (California Highway Patrol)
Experience with commercial vehicle inspections
Familiarity with CDL-related regulations or FMCSA standards
Bilingual (English Mandarin or Spanish)
Prior experience sharing knowledge, presenting, or mentoring
Pay: $30.00 - $60.00 per hour
