About the role

Our client, a leading asset management firm, is looking for an experienced VP, Operations to join their Private Debt Funds team in NYC. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing execution, reporting, and servicing for private debt funds and credit facilities (including ABL financing). What you'll own:✅ Structuring support — partner with deal teams to review transaction docs and ensure they match modeled structures✅ Transaction execution — direct cash/securities movements and funds flow✅ OC/IC & collateral quality testing — build and maintain proprietary models per Indenture requirements✅ Trustee reporting — review and tie out monthly/quarterly payment reports✅ Borrowing base & leverage facility oversight — covenant monitoring, fundings, paydowns✅ Waterfall calculations & servicer report review✅ Process ownership — from entity setup through amendment, restructuring, and wind-down Who we're looking for: A seasoned operations professional with direct private debt fund / structured credit experience — someone comfortable owning the full transaction lifecycle, fluent in Indenture mechanics and collateral testing, and ready to work cross-functionally with deal teams, trustees, servicers, and fund administrators.
