About the role

Overview As a Developer Advocate at Notion, you will shape how developers discover and ship on our platform, serving as the bridge between Notion and the global developer community. You’ll craft resources and content, represent Notion at events, and guide API enhancements in collaboration with engineering and product teams. This role places you at the center of our developer ecosystem, driving activation and adoption of Notion’s platform. You’ll work with cross-functional stakeholders to align on needs and opportunities, empowering builders to create impactful integrations. Compensation / Benefitshighly competitive cash compensationequitybenefitscareer growth opportunities Responsibilities Be the voice of the developer community and build strong relationships with Product and Engineering teams Create and publish content such as demos, guides, API references, and blog posts; amplify content via Notion Dev s on social channels Own Notion’s presence at hackathons, conferences, and events to drive developer activation Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Business Development to influence API improvements and guide developers through changes Manage and optimize developer channels (Notion Devs Slack, Notion Devs X) and developer docs to meet community needs and communicate roadmaps Partner with marketing and sales to demonstrate how developer features deliver customer value Key requirements Solid technical background and visible presence in the developer community Exceptional communication skills with both individual developers and large audiences Ability to build from 0 to 1 and scale a program into a company pillar Creativity and interest in business opportunities opened by the Developer Platform Experience rallying internal stakeholders and project management with engineering collaboration Curiosity about AI tools and willingness to adopt AI to enhance work practicesexcellent communicationcross-functional collaborationproject managementdeveloper advocacy and community buildingAPI familiarity and collaboration with engineering teamscontent creation for technical audiences
