Job Title: System Software Programmer - Project Lead (.NET)Location: Columbia, South CarolinaEmployment Type: Full Time, ContractWork Setup: Hybrid (2 days onsite per week)We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Application Developer to support our customer. This role will design, develop, enhance, and support custom web applications, APIs, database solutions, and reports in a service-focused government IT environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop custom web applications and APIsEnhance and troubleshoot new and existing systemsDevelop solutions using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, SQL Server, XML, and JSONBuild reports and dashboards using SSRS, Power BI, or similar technologiesDevelop and optimize SQL databases, queries, and data solutionsPerform unit and integration testingSupport custom business applications and document issues and resolutionsCollaborate with technical teams and subject-matter experts to identify defects and enhancementsPrepare technical specifications, requirements, test cases, and system documentationProvide technical support to users at multiple locationsRequired Qualifications5+ years of web application development using .NET technologies or similar web technologies, including ASP.NET, .NET Core, Blazor, Razor, or Python5+ years of SQL database programming and architecture experience5+ years of unit and integration testing experience5+ years of experience with SSRS, Power BI, or comparable reporting technology5+ years of experience supporting COTS and MOTS applications5+ years of IT experience within a law-enforcement environment3+ years of experience developing data transport or integration methods using XML or JSONStrong application troubleshooting, technical documentation, and customer-service skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience developing AI agents or toolsExperience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power BI, or Power AppsGitHub and/or DevOps experiencePowerShell scripting and workflow automation experienceExperience developing automated or manual test scriptsEducationA bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Technology Management, or a related discipline is preferred. Equivalent professional experience may be accepted.
