Responsibilities: Work with current owners and administrators to understand existing systems, requirements, and problem areas. Provide direct input for organization long-term efforts and visions for future architecture and design. Provide system administration functions to fix critical problems or implement stop-gap solutions as part of the transition to the new consolidated architecture. Translate existing requirements and use‑cases of current systems into scalable and supportable long‑term solutions. Implement and support final solution(s).Participate in frequent internal engineering and strategy team meetings. Build direct customer relationships to improve organizational feedback loop.
Required Skills: Extensive RedHat (RHEL), CentOs Linux, and/or UNIX experience. Experience managing NiFi data flows. Experience with VMWare or associate technologies (ESX, NSX, VSAN, KVM, Nutanix or other).Experience with containerization
Desired Skills: RHCSA (Red Hat Certified System Administrator) and/or RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer) certification.
Experience/Education: 10+ experience in System Administration Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college oruniversity is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substitutedfor a bachelor’s degree.
