About the role
Mercy Urgent Care in Asheville, NC seeks a Lead Medical Insurance Biller who will submit claims, verify insurance, and follow up on unpaid claims to ensure timely reimbursement. You will code diagnoses and procedures accurately and support the billing team in daily operations.
In this lead role you will train and mentor staff, identify process improvements, stay current on ICD-10/CPT, and ensure HIPAA compliance while maintaining strong payer relations.
