About the role

Collections Specialist Driving portfolio performance and sharing updates as needed with leadership and hotel partners to collect maximum possible dollars owed Resolve overcharges on the Expedia Virtual Cards and maintain active dispute cases to ensure each overcharge has been fully recovered and action partial credits as appropriate Conducting analysis of data to find opportunities for collections efforts Researching feedback from external partners to determine the balance of funds owed and how to disposition funds not owed Participating in brainstorming for and testing of new processes, systems, and tools used in collections Work with other departments to improve revenue collection Communicate clearly and effectively to convey information through a variety of means (primarily email & phone) with our hotel partners to maximize partner-initiated recovery potential and collections on invoices Respond to hotel partner inquiries and questions regarding overcharges disputed to secure credits from the partners back to our EVC cards within established timelines (SLAs) Monitor and maintain work queue to ensure cases do not exceed our recovery and collections timelines Complete work effectively and efficiently to achieve department metrics
