About the Role:
Ecolutia Services is looking for a skilled Pipe Welder and Fabricator to join our growing team in Port Arthur, TX. If you take pride in good quality workmanship, we want to hear from you!
Duties:
- Perform pipe welding tasks using various techniques and equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings
- Cut, thread, and assemble pipes according to specifications
- Operate forklift and other machinery as needed
- Utilize plasma cutting and press brake machines for fabrication
- Perform machining tasks as required
- Other general light construction as required
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a pipe welder or similar role
- Proficient in welding techniques such as TIG, MIG, and stick welding
- Experienced and skilled in Stainless Steel Welding
- Familiarity with codes and standards related to pipe welding
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to read schematics
- Ability to operate pipe threading machines and other relevant tools
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues
- Ability to travel for short periods of time to our project sites
