SENIORITY
Manager
About the role
Our client, a growing multi-state retail mortgage lender, is conducting a confidential search for a Senior Vice President of Production - a newly created executive position reporting directly to the President and sitting on the Senior Leadership Team.
While this leader will inherit an established, high-performing branch network, the organization is specifically seeking a builder: someone with a demonstrated track record of leading and growing their own team, region, or division, and the relationships to bring key producers to this platform as part of its next chapter.
What you'll own: Lead, coach, and hold accountable every Branch Manager and Loan Officer in the network
Drive pipeline reviews, business planning, and national sales meetings
Build out training strategy and onboarding for new BMs and LOs
Grow Realtor, builder, and referral partnerships - plus MSA/ASA opportunities
Partner with Recruiting to attract, retain, and grow top producers - including your own
Work hand-in-hand with Ops and Sales Support to clear roadblocks that slow production
Sit on Senior Leadership and help shape forecasts, growth strategy, and market expansion
Currently leading, or with recent experience leading, multiple markets or branches (a single-branch management background does not meet this requirement)
15+ years (preferred) of mortgage banking sales leadership experience
Average monthly funded volume of $15M+ across your team
Demonstrated success leading multi-state retail mortgage organizations
A proven personal production track record, with the reputation and relationships to bring a team along
Strong command of branch economics and production performance metrics
Proven ability to coach, retain, and develop high-performing sales teams
Excellent executive communication and relationship-building skills
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
