About the role

Job Description: We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Operator to join our food manufacturing team. The Kitchen Operator will prepare ingredients according to established recipes and production requirements, perform measurements and batch calculations, and operate kitchen equipment used to wash, process, and mix ingredients. This position is also responsible for documentation, inventory checks, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Kitchen Operator Responsibilities: Follow recipes and production instructions accurately. Open, inspect, measure, and prepare ingredients for production. Wash and sanitize ingredients according to food safety and GMP procedures. Calculate batch quantities and perform measurement conversions as needed. Accurately weigh and measure ingredients using scales and other measuring equipment. Operate machinery and equipment used to clean, process, and mix ingredients. Prepare and mix salads and other food products according to established recipes. Monitor ingredients and batches to ensure proper quantities, consistency, and quality.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 5am-1:30pm
Pay: $19/hr.
Production Worker Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team Ability to work in a fast-paced and cold environment Must be reliable and punctual Ability to follow safety and quality procedures. Ability to lift 50lbs.
