About the role
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Molding Operator to support manufacturing operations by operating molding equipment and ensuring production of high-quality parts. This role requires attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate molding machines according to established procedures
- Inspect parts for defects and ensure quality standards are met
- Perform secondary operations as needed to complete parts
- Package finished products appropriately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Complete required production and quality documentation
- Perform minor equipment adjustments or repairs as needed
- Assist with packaging preparation
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Basic math skills and ability to read and follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Manufacturing experience is a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 10-hour shifts)
- Frequent bending, twisting, and repetitive hand/wrist motion
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally
- Must be able to visually inspect parts (close and distance vision required)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, repetitive environment
- Work Environment
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts and vibration
- Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles
- Moderate to loud noise levels
- Climate-controlled facility IND2
